The daily challenge
Clume is a daily word deduction game built around one simple challenge: work out the hidden word from a sequence of clues.
You begin with a single clue. Make a guess and another clue is revealed. Each new clue gives you another route towards the answer, and you have up to ten chances to solve the puzzle.
The aim is to make the connection as early as you can. There is one new Clume every day, with the same puzzle available to everyone.
Every Clume starts with one clue pointing towards the hidden word.

The clues in Clume are designed to approach the answer from different directions.
One might be a familiar association. Another might relate to a phrase, a definition, a context, an opposite, a second meaning, or something commonly connected with the answer.
A clue which seems vague on its own can suddenly make sense when combined with the clues you have already seen. Part of the challenge is deciding when you have enough information to commit to a guess.
A new Clume becomes available every day at midnight in your local time zone.
You can play without creating an account. Players who register can keep track of their results and progress during their trial, while Clume Supporters can continue recording their games and accessing their personal statistics.
