The old vowel-heavy openers, ADIEU, AUDIO, and CANOE, do carry at least three vowels, which is why players reach for them. But a full simulation from Science Foundation Ireland puts the matter in numbers: the best single-word seed is TALES, which solves over 95% of games in an average of 3.66 rounds. Why Wordle Differs From Normal English

You cannot copy a letter-frequency chart from a Scrabble guide and expect it to hold. Wordle is not based on general English text; it is based specifically on five-letter words.
